Found a data scientist who calculated a "Game Age" which calculates how long it took players in top 10 to reach 10,000 games on tour. Today's players are reaching it way earlier than those in 70s, 80s. And they're doing it more often on a surface that's way harsher on their bodies (hardcourt). This, combined w/how game is played today could be reason we see so many injuries today?

Is Federer idolized too much? And today’s players are racking up more mileage on their bodies at a younger age—Ti #24
